what means #.TC.a or &amp.TC.a on the Anti Bot and Anti Virus Protections List

Hello everyone,

I have a cluster of 5000 appliances with R80.20 and I can't seem to find any information about a Anti Bot and Anti Virus Protections list item. What means the #.TC or &amp.TC or -.TC on the list? Is some kind of expression or is the exact name of the protection?

Also, I'm getting a protection name Adwre.TC.a (yes, it's Adwre) and can't find it on the list to create a rule with prevent.

Any Thoughts?

Best regards,

Bruno Moniz

.TC is the common designator for Trojan control tools. The format, if I remember correctly, is something like: <tool name>.<type>.<variant>

So Adwre.TC.a is a Trojan called Adwre, variant a.

Some, but not all mailware items can be found in the TreatWiki. You also can access ThreatWiki from SmartConsole. Look into sk105318 for more details.
