identity awareness multiple pdp

Dear all we are currently using an on premise cluster which is running as PDP/PEP and distributes identities to other Check Point firewalls. We are now moving this functionality to the cloud where also the end users would reside.

We are considering to enable the PDP on other firewalls, hence the reason for my question. Is it possible to have multiple PDP enabled while sharing identities between these firewalls. In other words having two PDP/PEP <--> PDP/PEP exchanging identities to each other?

PDPs should exist as close to the identity source as possible.
This means having multiple of them...sharing identities.
