identity agent and identity collector

does anyone knows if identity agent can connect to an Identity Collector or it can only connect to the PDP on the FW ?

Identity Collector is a Windows-based application which collects information about identities and their associated IP addresses, and sends it to the Check Point Security Gateways for identity enforcement. Identity Collector connects to Microsoft Active Directory Domain Controllers a.s. Endpoint Identity Agents are dedicated client agents that are installed on user endpoint computers.
