VSX Cluster error :Interface cannot be set. More than one default gateway is defined.

Hello,

I´m configuring a new VSX Cluster with 2 bond interfaces, using Sync interface for state synchronization and Mgmt port as usual.

I received the following error:

Installing default Policy...

Successfully installed default policy ...

Generating VSX Configuration for VSX_CLUSTER

Pushing VSX Configuration to VSX_CLUSTER

FW 2: processed 9% of configuration...

FW 1: processed 9% of configuration...

Failed to configure VSX_CLUSTER with the following errors:

FW 2 :Interface cannot be set. More than one default gateway is defined.

FW 1 :Interface cannot be set. More than one default gateway is defined.

VSX Processing Completed with Errors

Operation has failed.

I only have one default router to switch gateway for each FW. Also, I have a LOM inteface with the same next_hop.

Thank in advances!

Hi @Javier001

Did you set a default route during the GAIA installation?

If so, delete them.

Hi @Heiko
I can´t do that. Firewalls are behind many networks before reaching the MDS.

I have connected the Sync interfaces but one of them don´t have link detected...So I think that´s where the problems come from.

Is it possible build a bonding interface up with a Sync interface and a Eth interface?

Thank you

Not related to sync. Still, you need to fix sync before moving forward.

You are right. There was another static route configured not shown running "show route all" on clish. If you run from expert: clish -c "show configuration" | grep route, you can see ALL routes. Other way is cancel vsx mode using "vsx mode off" and then login on Gaia to see ALL routes.

Thank you.
