Hello,
Is it possible to connect remote VPN users, pointing to a domain instead of pointing to the Public IP?
The domain is already registered, it is accessible from the Internet.
Currently, users connect via browser, pointing to the Public IP, https://191.10.10.10, but now we want them to point to the domain https://publicipvpn.com.
This domain does resolve from the Internet.
Is this type of configuration possible?
Greetings.
Mobile Access?
Bro, if this is the same thing we discussed via email, Im fairly sure if IP resolves to proper name, then it should work. Just to be sure, you want users to be able to connect to fwdn rather than IP address, right?
Andy
Yep.
Instead of pointing to https://191.x.x.x
They should be pointed to the https://something.com
The domain does resolve from the Internet.
K, got it. Just tested both IP and fqdn and both give me check point mobile sign in page, so what @Chris_Atkinson gave you makes sense to me.
Andy
