VPN Auto Connect
Hello,
I have standby PC where this PC should be always connected to Company Network. The problem is sometime this PC rebooted and i must fill the credentials and connect the VPN again. With this situation i have some downtime (can be in minutes or hours).S
So it's possible we configure checkpoint VPN to automatically connect if the PC rebooted?

Thats controlled in global properties settings in smart console (under endpioint).

I think this not related to global properties in smart console, because when the PC rebooted then the Checkpoint VPN client will prompt for enter the credentials.

Well, if that setting is disabled (set to manual), then it makes sense would ask for credentials. Can you see what global properties is set to? Does this happen ONLY after reboot and it works otherwise?

On the global properties set to 'Configured on endpoint client', and from Checkpoint VPN client Enable always connect already ticked.

That sounds correct, but can you answer my last question please...does this ONLY happen after the reboot?

Ye only when the PC rebooted, maybe switch to certificate authentication will solve this issue?

Thats possible, but technically, even with u/p authentication, it should work. I tested it before many times in the lab and was perfectly fine.
