Good day we intend on adding voip connection to our checkpoint firewall and configure security policies for it. Does the Application Control blade pick the codecs like H,323 ,SIP ,G711 and add that to the security policies under services and applications in Security policies.

It would not add them automatically to the rulebase though, thats manual process.

VoIP is actually handled in the firewall (not App Control) and requires explicit rules to be created for traffic to be allowed securely.
