Update section missing

Hi everyone,

 

Recently installed an Elasticxl cluster but in gaia portal but the software update section does not appear. i have the base version build 777, R82 JHF T12.

Has this happened to anyone?

Maybe someone from CP can confirm this, but Im fairly positive its expected, as same shows in my lab R82 jumbo 14.

Also found below on chatgpt (though feel obligated to always say now that AI answers should be taken with grain of salt), but oddly enough, cant find whats mentioned in R81.20 or R82 jumbo documentation, unless Im really that bad at searching things lol

1. Check Point Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator SKs (e.g., sk175186)

In the Jumbo Hotfix Release Notes, under "Installation Instructions", they often say:

"On VSX, you must use the command line interface (CLI) to install the Jumbo Hotfix."

Example from R81.20 Jumbo HF documentation:

Important: Installation of Jumbo Hotfixes on VSX Systems must be performed via CLI only.
The WebUI (CPUSE Web Portal) is not supported for VSX.

That confirms what I also suspected, its only possible via clish.
