Setting MTU on VSX
We have a requirement to change the MTU of a sub-interface on a VSX cluster, We can see that under the settings for the sub-interface there is the option to set the MTU but what about the parent interface? does that need to be increased also, or will VSX take care of that automatically?
ie in clish we can see
set interface bond1 mtu 1500
set interface bond1.100 mtu 1500
In the settings of the interface in smartconsole, there is the option to change the MTU of bond1.100, but not of bond1. Does this need to be increased at the OS level prior to increasing the MTU of the sub-interface via smartconsole?
Thanks

Setting MTU on the sub interface in SmartConsole and installing the VS policy will push that MTU config out to the trunk interface as well.

On sub-interface it will show 1500 MTU (if u set from GUI), but still on bond and physical interface it will show previously configured MTU (for example 9000)
Will this not create a issue... ?
