R80.10 Webpage on security GW is blank after login?

Helloes.

A colleague of mine factory reset one of our old GW:s, because we wanted to test some stuff. It went back to R80.10 and then we were going to run the wizard. But after you log in the page is blank?

To clarify: we get the certificate invalid, we see the logon page and can log in with default credentials. Then it is white.

When you look with developer tools in the browser it says that "JavaScript needs to be enabled".

Is there some java applet required, or is R80.10 based on a framework that is obsolete today? what sort of javascript is used?

Later on we found that you can run the first-time wizard from the console, in expert mode. But after doing the FTW, we still get a white page when logging into GAIA.

Any ideas?

This is most probably an issue with some specific browsers, mentioned in sk121373. I would suggest reinstalling the appliance with one of the supported versions. You can do that by with an installation DVD upon booting from it.
