Not Able To Find the Serial Number
Hi Every One.
I have a UTM-1 570 and i want to get the Serial no of the device.But i am not able to do that.
Please suggest the CLI command to get the serial no of the unit.

Given this is a UTM-1 570, it's highly likely this is running SPLAT, which I don't believe had a command to show the serial number.
Also, I recall some older appliances didn't have serial numbers burned into EEPROM or similar.

Ok then, go to the "Expert" mode and execute:
dmiparse | grep ‘Serial Number’

This should give version info and info about the hardware, including serial number.
If that fails lookup the mac address of the Mgmt interface and look this up in the usercenter, there the serial number should also be mentioned.

All equipment is registered by the Mgmt MAC address within Check Point, also the licenses.

UTM 570 went completely out of support on 1-Apr-2017 - so regarding asset management, all we could do is recycle them, but not look at the serial... But maybe you want to play the serial number in the lottery ? 😁
