Links to specific jumbo takes

Can Check Point please publish links to previous jumbo HFA takes on the relevant Jumbo Hotfix page for each version (e.g. sk153152 for R80.30)?

In Professional Services we often find the need to deploy a specific HFA for example to replicate an issue or test an upgrade in a lab, or RMA a cluster member. Access to the original appliance to export a hotfix is often unavailable for whatever reason.

While TAC have been helpful in the past as have employees in this forum it would be great if those links to all versions were published on the hotfix page as it would save having to rely on a bunch of unknowns, especially in an emergency.

Thanks

Matt

PS: https://downloads.checkpoint.com was unusable for what I needed...

Via CPUSE you can download any of the past JHF using its identifier.
The naming scheme is deterministic based on the take number.

Should have added... access to the internet from the new appliance is also often unavailable (especially when the engineer and appliance both meet at a remote site).

I like to be prepared 🙂

Believe you can download/export the packages from an appliance that has Internet access so you have them available.

downloads.checkpoint.com should work. Which take your are looking for?

If you e.g. looking for r80.40 take 93 you have to search like this

https://downloads.checkpoint.com/dc//search.htm?action=search&appID=4&isKeywordSearch=&keywords=Take...

While at it, don't forget to grab the few versions of Deployment Agents (and test those before relying on them).

Thanks Daniel

I noticed https://downloads.checkpoint.com does not have a keyword search function published on the page but the field is in the query... while I can see that modifying the URL and dropping in a "&keywords=take%20228" gives me the results I want it was not immediately obvious - a simple change to the hotfix pages to include previous builds would make life easy, surely this can be done?

And while you're at it, improve the downloads page with an obvious search box and links from HF SKs e.g. "can't find the download you're after? Try the downloads page at..." 🙂
