IPS protections that are relevant for https traffic but without incoming https inspection

Hello Community

What are the IPS protections that are relevant for https traffic but without incoming https inspection?

Also what is the performance impact on a gateway with incoming https inspection(activated blade  IPS) and how someone can do sizing?

Thank you
Kostas

Core IPS protections that apply to all packets will also apply to https traffic. Performance impact always depends on how much of which traffic uses the available ressources. This can be pictured by a light weight script logging loads every minute.
