Gateway Not able to access Internet.

we have a new R81.10 firewall which is able to transfer Internet traffic for Guest user using PBR. And Local Lan use internet using SD-wan. But Gateway not able to connect to the internet. all ping to google.com or checkpoint.com going to SD-wan but there is no echo-reply. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hi,

can you please elaborate more?

R81.10 GW, i assume it's Spark SMB device? can you print the exact version? ('fw ver' in expert)

is it locally managed to centrally managed?

are you saying that the GW itself cannot connect the internet if you attempt to ping from the GW itself? but it's working for users behind the GW ? or something else?

What JHF level?
Did you use tcpdump or fw monitor to ensure the traffic is egressing the correct interface?

More details about the SD-WAN configuration might help as well.

Maybe you are not doing anything wrong per se, but we need to figure out if config is correct. First of all, can you run below command and send the output?

ip r g 8.8.8.8

Also, if you could send the screenshot of how topology is configured? (just blur out any sensitive data)

What does fw stat show?

Andy
