FTP Backup get stuck on 99% GAIA 80.40
Hi Mates,
I'm trying to figure out why a backup over FTP is getting stuck on 99%. That is happening only on my passive gateway and not on the active one. The FTP and GWs are on the same subnet so I assume that IPS/Rules are not affecting .
Is it possible run a debug to the backup process ?
I followed the sk100403 to kill the process but after reboot or try again, the issue is still occurring.
Any clue of what could I check ?
Thanks

The logs were showing that there was already a process running. Support couldn't help me during the first 3 meeting so I basically configure a Cron to Automate the commands of the sk100403 to kill the process of the backup some minutes before the scheduled backup over FTP.
"These are are commands of the sk 100403, I only removed the first 3 files and managed to run a backup over FTP"
- /tmp/.lock.backup_restore
- /var/CPsnapshot/tmp/cpbackup_util_*.lock
- /var/CPsnapshot/tmp/backup_util.lock
- /var/CPbackup/backups/.last_backup_status
- /var/log/CPbackup/backups/.last_backup_status

You can do backup -d command to debug it.

Hi,
We're having the same issue on R81.10, only backup gateway is having this issue. Tried reboot and deleting files as per sk article still it keep happening.
Any solution for this. We have tried out SCP backup which seems to be working but haven't pushed it into production yet.

Did you try -d flag to debug it?

I tried but it gave error as the FTP process is already stuck in progress so debug didn't start.
I'm planning to reboot the gateway as we have some other issues so will try again.

I would definitely upgrade to R81.20 if you can, as it has been recommended for more than a year now and its super stable.
