Exporting old logs
Hi,
We have old logs from 2018, in our management server. We would like to get this exported in to our NAS. The checkpoint support team advised to install log exporter initially and then said that the Log Exporter is used to actually export "new" log entries to an external SIEM server.
How can I export the old logs?
Thanks,
Jeevan

Are they going to a NAS or going to a SIEM?
Those are very different destinations.
If just a NAS (e.g. for backup) you can copy them from $FWDIR/log.
If it's to a SIEM then you need to use Log Exporter.
