ElasticXL Sync question

Hi,

Regarding ElasticXL deployments, specifically the Sync bond interfaces, I have two questions:

  1. If I have an ElasticXL with only 1 security group and just 2 members, is it possible to connect the Sync interfaces directly, or is mandatory to use an external switch?
  2. Can I add more interfaces to the Sync bond which has the ID 1024?

I've searched over the documentation, but there are no clear answers about this.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

César Santos

Short answers: Yes (direct is fine) and yes (make sure you set a primary interface).

Hey Cesar,

To add to what Emma and Chris said, which is 100% correct, this is one example:

add bonding group 1024 interface eth2
add bonding group 1024 interface eth3

Best,
Andy
