DNS is not working correctly on VPN Connected User

Hi,

I currently have the following error:

1. user dials in with SecuRemote
2. connection to the remote desktop does not work with hostname
3. it works with the IP
4. sometimes it works with the FQDN

VPN IP Pool: 192.168.101.0/24
Customer network: 192.168.100.0/24
VPN Client: Check Point SecuRemote
Split tunneling: Is active, I would like to set it to “Send everything through the VPN tunnel”

What do I have to do to make this work? I have already tested a few things and all without success.

Please send me corresponding instructions or articles, links.

Best regards,

Rafael

What is the destination of the RDP session the VPN client station itself or an internal server within the customer network?

Depending on the specifics you may need either a client type that supports Office mode or confirm that back connections option is enabled etc.

The destination is a virtual machine which is in the customer's network.

Where can I activate the back connection option?

Thanks

Likely not relevant but you can find it In SmartConsole, click Menu > Global properties. In the Additional Properties section, select Enable Back Connections (from gateway to client). Click OK. Then Install the Access Control Policy on the VPN Security Gateway.

I have seen that the client does not receive any DNS servers. What could be the cause?
