Configuring the Identity Collector to Work with Active Directory

Hi All

I was trying to configure Identity awareness using Identity collector on my checkpoint R80.40 however while adding the active directory The Identity collector server keeps saying "unable to connect please check the connectivity with server or server firewall configuration". I try ping from the Identity collector server and telnet to port 53, 636, 389, 135 and it works fine. so please any idea why it is unable to add the active directory?

Testing DCOM simply via telnet probably isn't sufficient given it uses dynamically allocated ports in addition to 135. Could also be an NTLM issue.

Hey,

For us the AD connection from IC was pretty straight. We just added the domain into IC and the user/pass defined for it. Then we added the AD servers and link it to the created domain, and that was all.

Can you get us a screenshot where you see the error message ?

Thank you,
