I have an appliance 3000 running GAIA R80.10 and would like to configure ISP redundancy. My question is, is it possible to have this setup in this appliance ? the documentation does not have that much information.
waiting for your responses.
Yes, instructions are in the ClusterXL Admin Guide.
ClusterXL R80.10 (Part of Check Point Infinity) Administration Guide
Thanks for the guide its really helpful. I have just discovered that the first gateway was not configured in cluster. Is it possible to change it and make it primary without starting the configurations again?
Just set the cluster member you want as primary with a higher priority (or adjust the other one with a lower priority).
This is done in the cluster object under Cluster Members.
Thanks for the info. I was able to work on the redundancy. looking out for another checkpoint project.
Are you able to reduce the redundancy? how did you actually do it? I want to do the same.
I configured mine as load balancing not primary and secondary. its able to share the load. Can you give me more details on your configuration?
