The 4600 was an appliance launched in 2012.
The specs we published are here: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/uc/pdf/datasheets/4600-appliance-datasheet.pdf
This appliance will be End of Support in the next year or so.
The latest version it will run is R80.40.
The 7000 is actually two generations later than the 4600.
It’s a pretty significant bump performance wise and should allow for 10 and 40GB NICs also.
Datasheet here: https://www.checkpoint.com/downloads/products/7000-security-gateway-datasheet.pdf
