I would like to ask a question regarding limitation of Check Point QOS :
"Check Point QoS can only perform the first 2 operations. It does not look at the existing DSCP value of incoming packets. This means that in order to allow Check Point QoS to play an active part in the DiffServ environment it will need to re-classify and re-mark the packets. This forces the user to redefine the classification rules."
So it means that also it is not sending out marked packets after own clasification ? I am asking becasue i have one use case where check point is not a border between some networks but would be great if check point would send marked packets and then other device ( cisco asr ) would do a shaping. Is this possibile ?

We'll send out DSCP tags, yes, they're just not used as part of the classification process.

These are the same values - 1 Gbps (Gigabits per second) is equal to 12500000 Bytes per second
I agree this is somewhat confusing. I'll forward it to the relevant owner in R&D.
