Checkpoint Cluster change on cli
Hello,
I have a cluster of 2 members,
now FW2 is the primary,
and FW1 is on standby.
I want to make FW1 primary again without rebooting FW2,
there is command on CLI to make FW1 primary again?
thanks

Hi,
the command in expert mode is: "clusterXL_admin down". Do that on the active member and make sure to use "clusterXL_admin up" to make the member standby afterwards. Otherwise it will stay in "Down" state.

#cphaprob state
will show the cluster xl states of all members. For failover, use in CLISH
#set cluster member admin down
#set cluster member admin up
Or in Expert mode use:
#clusterXL_admin down
#clusterXL_admin up
