Hi All,
Does Check Point Appliance will provide SD WAN Solution?
PAN-OS 9.1 & Forti-OS 6.0 can run SD WAN, Is there any SD WAN road map on Check Point ?
Regards,
Jarvis
I assume that CP appliances are built for GAiA CheckPoint software only 😉 - but you can run Embedded GAiA on SD-WAN, see
Rather than ask about SD-WAN, which means LOTS of things, please ask about the precise features/functionality you are interested in.
Hi PhoneBoy,
example:
multiple-wan link (more than two), load sharing
path health check, priority routing.
path selection based on application/domain
Regards,
Jarvis
You can do multiple default routes with ECMP as well as, from R80.30, Policy-Based routes with default routes.
R80.40 supports policy routing based on application (albeit via a hidden feature).
R81 will make significant improvements to the NAT policy which will likely also be helpful here.
The simple answer is: until now there is no such solution from CP. The competitors (FortiNet, Palo Alto) have one.
