Adding a new network subnet to Checkpoint

Hey Team,

Hope you're all good.

I really need your assistance. I created a new subnet on my network for a new environment. I need to make this new subnet known by the firewall so that the external networks are also able to connect in case I am to create VPN tunnels and also mobile access.

How can I add this network to Checkpoint firewall?

Your assistance will be great. I am using R80.10

Thanks

@Ftopacho Check Point for Beginners is a good starting point to learn how Check Point is working.

you have to configure new subnet/vlan/interface via GAiA WebUI

you have to add these new interface to the topology of the gateway in Smartconsole

you have to add these new subnet to the encryption domain

additional you have to configure routing, Antispoofing and some new rules for the needed communication

and at least you have to connect your new network physical via a new interface or via new VLAN on an existing trunk
