In the following script, you will find an interactive approach focused on the creation and management of Interoperable Devices in Check Point environments. The script guides the administrator through key steps such as defining the interoperable device, publishing changes, and installing the security policy.
This method can be especially useful in scenarios where SmartConsole access is limited or unavailable, or when you want to perform configurations directly via CLI. It also provides better visibility into how Interoperable Device configurations are handled behind the scenes.
Before executing the script, make sure to assign execution permissions using chmod +x filename, and always validate in a lab environment before production use.
I appreciate your patience, as it may not be perfect. However, I invested a good amount of time making it as functional as possible. Feel free to try it out and enjoy it.
