SCP Scheduled backup not appearing

Hi Guys

Can you please assist I tried to setup a scheduled backup pointing to a scp server however after all the configs are completed and saved no scheduled backup is appearing.

Do you have any idea what could be the problem when i run show backup-scheduled from the cli it's not showing any scheduled backup.

The first time are was getting the below error but today when I tried to schedule a backup no error popped up but the schedule is not appearing.

Did you actually do what it said in that error message?
Also what version/JHF is this?

Just to add to PhoneBoy. Did you try manual test file transfer from FW using SCP? That would confirm basic e2e connectivity and credentials.

You can always search messages file for basic backup logs:

grep -i backup /var/log/messages

Yes I tried to manually transfer and i was getting the same error.

I tried what the error was saying and referred to the SK however i noticed that the SK is not updated the steps they advised us to follow is not supported on r81.10 that is what I think.

Here is what the SK recommends add ssh hba hostname <HOSTNAME> public-key access-mode online fingerprint <SHA256_FINGERPRINT>

However the working command is add ssh hba hostname <HOSTNAME> public-key access-mode online fingerprint <FINGERPRINT>

Thank you for the response issue has been resolved.
