Reset reach-my-device validation-token?

Hi,

Is it possible to reset the validation-token for an SMB device?
The reason I'm asking is that I didn't think twice when I restored a SMB device to default-settings.
(No backups since I'm testing a new configration).

Thanks in advance
Daniel

That is correct - but you need to contact TAC and make them delete this from the database manually. I had a similar thing before with a customer 😎.

Not sure I understand the question. You can re-apply the license to a restored device

In short, I forgot to save the validation-token when I activated "Reach my device".
Now I wish to re-use the previous host name, but I can't since it requires that I supply the validation-token for that host name.
I'm thinking there must be a way to check and reset this at Check point.

set reach-my-device host-name "MyPreviousRegistredHostname" existing-host-name "true" validation-token "XXXXX"

Seems to be the way to go then.
@_Val_ It would have been nice to have that option in product center for example, check/clear existing RMD registration.

Thanks for your replies.

Hi Daniel,

Could you please let me know from where I could get the validation token for the new setup of RMD registration? Is that any alphanumeric number or do I have to connect with TAC to avail the validation token?

Hi Hitesh,

WebUI - Device -> System -> DDNS & Device Access
or
Clish - show reach-my-device
