Quantum Spark latest release Breaks Cisco Webex Phone calling..
hello everyone.
Just chiming in here to see what im seeing as perhaps a bug, which i managed to roll back from
The latest 09 April 2024: R81.10.10 Build 996002906
When logging into cisco webex im able to connect to the webex servers, but it wont actually log into the phone services, so phone calls inbound/outbound wont work because it cannot connect.
ive tried logging and i see no dropping packet's so im suspecting something implied or something else not visible to the admin is happening here.
Rolling back firmware makes it works.
to rule out any hiccups in the configuration i have also tried resetting a quantum spark 1570 model to factory default but with latest firmware. still does not work. Roll back to previous image(with lower firmware), with both configuration AND factory default & then Cisco Webex will function correctly again.
this should be easy to replicate or then i can provide a "defect" backup to test with 🙂

Is this locally managed and do you have WebEx enabled in Smartaccel rules?

i have both tried with & without & i have also tried disabling the service
as said i have a backup configuration which you can roll into a spark box if you wanna see for yourself 🙂
i would say regarding managed, call it LOCAL but its connected to the cloud service.. just for connectionpurpose and easier log query's and reading but configuration are done locally
