I have started this comparison in ca. 2016. The 5 performance columns are from the official data sheets (2013 and up), but comparison criteria have changed over time, so also figures did. * IPS Strict (Recommended) Profile, ** FW Real World (FW 1518 byte UDP), VPN AES-GCM 1452
Nice post mate 👍
Are those your own tests, @G_W_Albrecht?
Sorry, added the footnote !
fair enough, thanks
I have pondered to include the 1500 Pro models (some now have 4GB memory) - but official specs do not deviate from the present ones, only more criteria have been added...
how about the specs of 1900 and 2000 appliances ?
Please tell me the specs in detail!
Are you seeking information that isn't provided on the datasheet?
Yes, I'm want to know the CPU and memory capacity of 1900 and 2000 appliance
CP don't publish this information for it's appliances.
Please discuss the requirement with your local SE if your are concerned about sizing.
I would like to add/update the information
1530/1535 - CPU: Marvell Armada 7040 1.40GHz in booth, 3 cores unlocked, RAM: 1530: 2GB, 1535: 4GB on board
1550/1555 - CPU: Marvell Armada 7040 1.40GHz in booth, 4 cores unlocked, RAM: 1550: 2GB, 1555: 4GB on board
1570/1575 - CPU: Marvell Armada 8040 2.00GHz in booth, 3 cores unlocked, RAM: 1570: 2GB, 1575: 4GB on board
1590/1595 - CPU: Marvell Armada 8040 2.00GHz in booth, 4 cores unlocked, RAM: 1590: 2GB, 1595: 4GB on board
1900- CPU: probably a similar CPU with the same number (24) of cores as Spark 2000, just underclocked?, RAM: 16GB (probably same as Spark 2000), Disk: (probably same as Spark 2000)
2000- CPU: Marvell® OCTEON TX2® CN96XX 2.2GHz, 24 cores (SKU: CN9670), RAM: 16GB (option to upgrade to 32GB- also in datasheet, there are 2 SO-DIMM DDR4 slots on the board, both are used with 8GB 1Rx8 non-ECC 3200 MT/s modules), Disk: 512GB NVMe, PCIe Gen4 SSD
Thanx a lot!
I have confirmed before that the RAM 32GB option for the 1900/2000 is not scheduled so far, and datasheets will be updated accordingly.
where are the mighty sofawares ? 😂
I only can show you mine as a photo as i only have specs from Edge / Safe@Office appliances:
UTM-1 Edge X, UTM-1 Edge W, UTM-1 Edge X ADSL, UTM-1 Edge W ADSL
