DSL SFP tranceivers CPAC-1500-TR-DSL

Does anyone knows the technical difference of the tranceivers CPAC-1500-TR-DSL and CPAC-1500-TR-DSL-B for a DSL connection?

Will be CPAC-1500-TR-DSL-B required in Germany or can we use CPAC-1500-TR-DSL with our own RJ45 => TAE cable?

According to the documentation:

  • CPAC-1500-TR-DSL delivered with RJ45 to RJ11, 1.8m cable
  • CPAC-1500-TR-DSL-B delivered with RJ45 to TAE, 2m cable

I presume they are identical transceivers and we use the different SKU to determine what cable (RJ11 or TAE) to include.

Hi @Wolfgang,

This works perfectly in Germany:
CPAC-1500-TR-DSL-B delivered with RJ45 to TAE, 2m cable

Thanks Heiko. I know, I know this documentation. We have transceiver CPAC-1500-TR-DSL and tried different RJ45=>TAE cables from other router vendors like AVM, nothing works. My hope, the transceivers are the same and we need another cable only. That‘s why I ask.
