DHCP option 43

Hi,

I have 1535 devices, and I want to set up a DHCP service under eth1.255. The DHCP service works fine, and devices can get IP addresses from the DHCP server. However, when I configured DHCP Option 43 for Huawei access points, the access points can get an IP address but fail to receive the DHCP Option 43 string.

I tried adding the address 01:04:C0:A8:0F:0A both as a hex-string and as a string, but the access points still couldn’t get Option 43. I also added it as an IP address, but that didn’t work either.

Has anyone managed to successfully configure this? My goal is for the access points to resolve the WAC address, retrieve its IP address, and automatically register with it.

For fun, I tried configuring my own device to offer Option 43.
I checked with tcpdump and don't see the option in the DHCP Offer packet.
This is likely going to require a TAC case.

Might need TAC case to check further. I also tried it in demo smb, but cant see any more options.
