Configure HA Mode for R81.10.x Quantum Spark Cluster
Hi,
for older SMB versions (e.g. R77.20.x) it was supported to set the HA Mode (Active Up / Higher Priority Up) in the cluster object via SmartConsole.
This is documented in sk138893 - How to create a centrally managed cluster for Embedded Gaia SMB gateways
Is this not supported with higher versions? Because the setting is missing and also the admin guide is not mentioning it anymore.
Although the HA_mode setting on the cluster object is still available through GuiDBedit!
Or is there a different way to achieve a preemption?
Thanks
Norbert

I don't think it can hurt to try guidbedit and see if it works.
Not 100% sure this is supported in R81.10.xx code.
Might require a TAC case to confirm: https://help.checkpoint.com
