Can we link smb model 1590 version R80.20.02 with github
Hi All,
Can we link smb model 1590 version R80.20.02 with GitHub. IP block list will be updated to the git hub and then the checkpoint will be connected to the same. So every 3 or 4 hours , per the schedule , the ip blocklist updated to the github will take effect for the smb as well. Recently came across a query for the below? Please advise , Also, if it is possible, please share any link for achieving the same.

This is only possible using GAiA in a supported way. So you would have to write your own cron script that first fetches the list, if successfull, calls delete antispam blocked-sender
and issue add antispam blocked-sender
for every line in the list.

Hi,
Currently the SMB (model 1590 version R80.20.02 ) is configured in a standalone mode with no separate Gaia. It is only one console login only what i can see , where we can create policies etc. So believe in this case it is not possible right?
Thanks,

There is GAiA - for larger appliances, Cloud and OpenServer, and there is Embedded GAiA for SMB appliances, like on the 1590. As there is no official support for the procedure, you would have to write a cron job as explained above.

Depending on the list size you may want to utilize SecureXL drop features like 'fw samp' or 'fwaccel dos' if available.
