Can we achieve ISP redundancy with 1430 appliance?
Hi team,
Wondering since 1430 comes with only WAN interface. - Can we
- Create/convert LAN interface as WAN?
- And achieve ISP redundancy with 1430 appliances if managed through Central SMS server?

Yes:
- High availability (ISP Redundancy): Makes Internet connectivity more reliable with ISP Redundancy.
- Load Balancing: Distributes traffic between the primary and secondary connections.
ISPs:
-
WAN or DMZ is for most types of Internet connections.
-
LAN. You can also use unassigned LAN ports with no VLANs for Internet connections. When you delete the internet connection, the port revers to an unassigned LAN.
-
USB/Serial is for cellular or analog modems.
-
ADSL/VDSL. PPoE, IPoE - static IP, or IPoE - dynamic IP.

Thanks - Let me see.
So any of the unused LAN can be used for WAN connection.

This is ok - I am not going for ISP redundancy but will go for two ISPs and not sure again if PBR can be configured? So that traffic from say LAN-2 192.168.5.0 will be natted to WAN1 while traffic from LAN-3 172.16.24.0/24 will be natted through DMZ.
