Add a SMB gateway on MDS using mgmt_cli

Hi there,

I'm trying to add a SMB 1570R LTE gateway with mgmt_cli. Most command are working like IP, onte-time-password etc..

The porblem I have is on "version" and "hardware". How to configure it for SMB 1570 LTE?

If I don't do this, it's impossoible to install the policy by command line due to version mismatch.

Regards

Marco

Currently this is unsupported / not possible. Use SmartDashboard instead !

SMB Gateways are a different object type from regular gateways that can only be created from SmartConsole at this time.

Hi all,

with mgmt_cli I can create a object that represent my SMB gateway: use dynamic object, add value for MDS, syslog etc..

But the problem is that it's possible to set only the version (like R80.20 , R81.10) but can't set the type. In this case I can't create appliance gateway setting the version.

Ther's not a workaround?

No. SMB Gateway objects are a different object type from regular gateways and currently can only be created from SmartConsole: Please also remember that with SMP & SMP API, SmartLSM / SmartProvisioning you have a broad set of tools for SMB GWs that you should evaluate first.
