Hi,
Could I apply an upgrade to a Gaia Embedded Checkpoint to upgrade directly from R80.20 firmware version to R81.10 firmware version?
I have seen that the sk113113 (https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut... indicates that this is possible, but I don´t know if it´s valid for Gaia Embedded Checkpoints.
Thanks for all.
The mentioned SK is only applicable to the regular Gaia appliances. For Quantum Spark (a.k.a. SMB) models, you should be able to upgrade directly.
Please ensure you backed up your Spark appliance properly, saved the configuration file on external storage, and that you have your current firmware handy, just in case.

My 1550 recently upgraded all by itself, without users noticing anything, from R80.20.50 to R81.10.00, so i am very sure of that 8)
Ok.So, I will upgrade directly.
Thanks for all
You also want to read through the release notes: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/SMB_R81.10.00/RN/EN/Content/Topics-RN/Installing-Release.htm?to...
I cant even seem to open that link, says "Solution not found in the system", though Im logged in. I would say, for embedded Gaia appliances, it should tell you under upgrade option (cant remember what tab now in web UI...should be under overview -> system), but I know it says right there which version is available.
Hopefully below is useful:

The mentioned SK is definitely accessible. I guess it is the link above which is not okay
Right, thanks for that, got it now.
Cheers,
Andy
