hi: I'm not an expert just a noob

I'm using 730 appliance 20.87 Gaia

I have a controller that is connected to my network 

I contact it with dhcp it got 192.168.1.14

the controller is web interface port 80 

is there a way to make it web server and concoct it from my home 

I'm using a fix ip

Refer to the admin guide for configuring NAT if your attempting to expose it natively otherwise VPN might be appropriate.

You need to have a nat rule (besides normal access rule that would look something like this)

original packet:

source -> your external IP, destination -> your 730 external IP , service -> any (or 3389 for Remote Desktop)

translated packet:

source -> original , destination -> whatever internal IP you are going to , service -> original

Chris is right...nat would make sense here. Its say if someone tried to connect to your home desktop computer from outside. In order to do so, you would have to set up port forwarding on your home router for port 3389. This is exactly what you are trying to do.

how do i redirect the connection from my home browser

say my work ip is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and the controller is 192.168.1.14 

if I put my ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 it wont translate to any ware

Why port 80? Are you not trying to get to it via Remote Desktop?

Just apply same logic to nat rule example I gave, trust me, it works 100%. That's how you access anything internal from external...it needs nat, otherwise, it will never work.

If external IP of the machine you are trying to access is say 2.3.4.5, and you wish to RDP into it, then you would do 2.3.4.5:3389...same for any port you want to use, as long as right NAT rule is in place.

I was referring to using Remote Desktop application on windows...if you wish to use port 80 or 443, modify nat rule to reflect that.
