1570R Questions

Hello;

We are looking at deploying the 1570R models to our EMS Substations and some questions from the Field Engineers are coming in.

Is there a model going to be offered (soon) that will accept high voltage DC? - 130VDC

Is there a model that is either going to offer additional Serial connections or can the serial port be split?
There are several serial RTU's at these substations ie. (No Ethernet supported RTU's)

Regarding the Cellular, is ATT Firstnet supported?

Thanks

-pat

I would ask the local CP SE for these details !

In terms of the hardware roadmap, your best bet is to work with your Check Point SE.
I know AT&T is one of the supported operators for the 1570R (but not sure about Firstnet support).

Thanks for your replies.  Yes We are trying to work with our Check Point Team but so far nothing has come back from Their internal sources.  I think they are contacting the internal SCADA business unit.
