1570R - Power Supply Question

1570R is the successor product for 1200R.

1570R supports redundant power supply, the question I have is:

1) when using both power sources, how to verify which is the active one.

2) if one fails, how to verify which one failed?

If you use both power sources, appliance will work even if one power supply fails - but the 1570R is not able to tell which one fails. You will have to check the DC terminal block with a meter to find out if it still has power and the PSU is defective.

I just repeated the datasheet - and there is no way in WebGUI to see which power supply fails. The firmware is the same for the other 15x0 / 1600 / 1800 appliances that do not have HA power sources, so it is an understandable behavior. Glad about a Kudo 😎

It makes me understand some details better when trying to answer question, and that could be very handy in my job as a CCSP 😎
