We are running endpoint vpn client E86.20. We’ve been trying to upgrade to different new versions and always end up with the same issue, the client can’t connect right away. We have to retry several times and it eventually connects.
When it fails to connect we see this in helpdesk.log;
Service was stopped (in clean_trac_cb -> about to exit)
And we see this in Windows System Event log;
The Check Point Endpoint Security VPN service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: Restart the service.
Any ideas what could be the cause?
Client is E86.20 on Windows 10 21H2. Gateway is R80.40 JHF take 192
