New Mobile Access Portal Agent is Available

On-demand client technologies of the Mobile Access Blade, such as SSL Network Extender, Compliance Scan and Secure Workspace were impacted by a lack of Java Plugin support of the modern browsers Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

We previously released hotfixes for R77.30 and R80.10 security gateways via sk113410. These hotfixes did not include support for Microsoft Edge and MacOS support.

Today, we are introducing new version of Mobile Access Portal Agent hotfix which brings following capabilities:

  1. Support of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge on Windows systems
  2. Support of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on major Linux systems
  3. Support of Google Chrome and Apple Safari on macOS 10.13 High Sierra

The hotfix can be installed on top of security gateways R77.30 with Jumbo take 307 and above and R80.10 with Jumbo take 112 and above. Follow the installation Instructions from appropriate Release Notes in sk113410.

We will appreciate any feedback, which will help us to shape this new technology.
