Network filters error installing VPN Client

Hello,

I am trying to install CheckPoint VPN Client E80.92 on a Windows 10 Professional PC. I keep getting the error

The system has reached the maximum possible number of network filters. Installation will exit.

(see attached screenshot).

I have already created the registry key

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters

and set its value to 14.

Same error.

The Powershell script suggested here

How to get a list of network filters installed on a Windows 7 system

tells me there are currently just 7 filters, so it seems I'm still well under the limit.

What else can I do to make the installation successful ?

Thanks.

Probably should open a case with TAC so we can investigate.

Have you gotten a solution to this?  I'm having the exact same issue.
