If a buy a appliance i need to subscribe ?

Hello,

I'm looking for a device to install in my enterprise to install a VPN for my colleague, but i don't find I can't figure out if I need a subscription to use the device or if I can use it without one.

It actually depends on a bundle you are purchasing, and an appliance model.
