Endpoint Security updates

RE: E86.70 Check Point Remote Access VPN Clients for WindowsAutomatic Upgrade file

E86.70 Check Point Remote Access VPN Clients for WindowsAutomatic Upgrade file

There's no more documentation than this.   Where do I put the cab file on my gateway, /opt/CPcvpn-R81.10/htdocs/SNX/INSTALL?

That being said I'm using a managed portal for some users who want more security and that group already gets the automatic updates.  This question is for my outliers who just use the fat Endpoint Security Mobile software for VPN only, no other security.

My first thought was just to manage all users on the portal with a vpn only group.

But after seeing this link, may I just need to put this cab file in /opt/CPcvpn-R81.10/htdocs/SNX/INSTALL and windows users will be prompted for updates.

The process is a little more complicated than that: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/RemoteAccessClients_forWindows_AdminGuide/Content/Topics-RA-VPN...
Note this was previously available as sk163354 (now deleted).

Thanks!   BTW, is that for both windows and mac users?   I don't think the linux clients can work with automatic updates, I could be wrong, but I suspect this is just windows.  I don't think the linux users can be auto updated here or with the managed ES portal.

Yes, but the file you edit for the Mac version is different.
The only supported Linux VPN client is SNX, which is updated via a different process.
