Hi Team,
One of the customer has deployed TrendMicro and wants to check that client connecting VPN has pattern file not older than 7 days. With SCV it is possible to manually enter a value for checking registry value corresponding to the pattern file updated on the endpoint. Can we dynamically set a parameter so that the SCV file needs not to be updated every week.
Any ideas will be highly appreciated.
No but you can probably create a script to periodically update the SCV file, seeing as it’s just text.
Thank you. Will try it out.
I've got the same request. Have you solved the issue? if yes how?
Hi Claudio,
As of now the customer is checking a registry entry associated with pattern update and are manually updating it once a week. I have suggested the customer to evaluate either of the options
1. As recommended above create a script that can do and edit the local.scv file on scheduled basis
2. Consider adopting the Harmony Basic's Compliance blade which can do this more efficiently. However, the check is currently available for OfficeScan and needs to be checked for ApexOne.
Hope this helps.
