Hi All

A new Ongoing Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator take for R81 (take 10) was released today,  and is available for download. Please refer to sk170114

 

Release Highlights

  • Stability fixes
  • Scalable Platforms GA! for more information refer to sk169954
  • Web SmartConsole -  1st release for Web SmartConsole, for more information, refer to sk170314.

   

Please note the following:

  •        The new release is mentioned in  sk170114
  •        The new releases will be published via CPUSE as a recommended version once it will be published as GA.
  •        Availability:

o   Available to download the via sk170114

o   Available for download via CPUSE by using package identifier.

o  Can be provided by customer support

How do you access the Web SmartConsole? What's the actual URL https://MGMT_IP/???

Hi David,

Web SmartConsole can be visited by typing the management IP followed by /smartconsole as follow: https://<MGMT_IP>/smartconsole

If you do try to import that package in CPUSE offline you do get the following issue.
(DA agent is 1999)


[Mon Dec 14 18:50:42 2020]: Import of package Check_Point_R81_JUMBO_HF_Bundle_T10_sk170114_FULL.tgz Failed

The imported package is not in the correct format. Please use a package file in the format of *.tar.

Contact Check Point Technical Services for further assistance.


It works to search for the take and "add hotfix from cloud"

The issue was resolved, you can go to the sk and download  the CPUSE Offline package w/o any issues

Negated cells are not shown in the webgui, this is something that i think you should fix more or less asap 🙂

Thank you for your feedback, please keep sharing with us items you find missing or working in an un expected way.

We are aware of the 'Negate' issue, it will be fixed in our next version. We are planning to have frequent updates for our Web SmartConsosle.

Hi @David_Robinson,

 

I think you are using the EndPoint Policy Manager and access to SMS using 4434 port.

SmartConsole web is supporting only 443 port. I have a same error and after disable the EPM, It works.

I am not sure, but think there is now way to use web smartconsole with EPM in this moment.

I hope it will works further :-). It is just first release of web smartconsole.

Yes, the first version is RO. We are working on the RW version. We plan to keep and enrich Web SmartConsole content at a frequent pace.
