Metrics to Heavy Connections on Grafana

Hello all,

I would like add metrics below on my grafana's dashboard.  I created new file in /var/log/metrics.txt adding new metrics following sk178566. Skyline Deployment with Prometheus and Grafana.

network.heavy_connection.packets

network.heavy_connection.bytes

system.network.nat.connections.count

system.network.nat.connections.rate

system.network.nat.ports

system.network.nat.ports.limit

R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator 76

Need I a configure a new dashboad or widget on Grafana to appear?

Hello,

first of all i would open the prometheus web-ui to check if prom receives the metrics.
Be aware that on prom naming standard is not using dot "." in the metric names but underscore "_"
So e.g. system_network_nat_ports

In general for all metrics you don't already have a Grafana panel you have to add one using the prometheus datasource. Easiest way is to clone an existing prometheus panel and adjust the promql query to get the metric you want to add.

and now to something completely different - CCVS, CCAS, CCTE, CCCS, CCSM elite

Hello Vicent,

I checked, and metrics are being sent to the promethes server. example:

network.heavy_connection.packets

network.heavy_connection.bytes

But I will need help to make this edit with my co-workers. I thought I was ready by Checkpoint.
