smart console connect

Hey I am new to check point, i have one smart console r80.10 and i connect to my management but not to gateway. 

Maybe i can't connect to gateway directly with smart console?

Hi Stelios,

That is correct, you can only SmartConsole into your manager (unless it is a standalone deployment with both the manager and the gateway in a single device).

Yes, you are correct here, You only connect to management server from Smart Console, but not the gateway. But in case of Standalone deployment you can because of management server and gateway both are installed on the same management server.
