HI
I'm having a disk cleanup problem on my virtual management server.
I followed the recommended steps to remove the files, but this did not lead to significant success.
Is there a reason that you provisioned much less than the minimum disk space for this machine?
That might be a bit tricky to fix : - (. You can follow below links to see if there are files that can be safely removed.

To add to my initial response, PLEASE be careful what you delete from / dir, because if you get rid of wrong file, there wont be any option left, but to totally reinstall.
Andy
On a relatively fresh R81.20 install, the root filesystem uses 17GB.
You're not going to be able to clean up much.
The real issue is you didn't allocate enough space for the root filesystem.
Only way to fix that is a complete reinstall.
You should be able to use migrate_server to export the configuration to a newly built VM built to the proper specifications in terms of disk space.
That sounds like a good idea.
Hello
Thank you for your responses.
The R 80.10 Management Server VM resides in the GCP cloud.
During installation, I specified a disk of 100 GB.
the last three years everything worked without problems until I updated the IPS signatures (which I have disabled)

Maybe you can double check with TAC as well.
Andy
Rather than waste time "fixing" issues with an End of Support version, upgrade to a supported release.
This will require a fresh install anyway per: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk155632
To get to the current recommended release (currently R81.10), this upgrade will have to be done twice:
I agree 100%. I just went over notes from few years ago where client was in same situation and even TAC could not help, because there simply was no files we could safely remove. They ended up re-installing and gave it way more space.
I would follow below in such scenario.
